Chairs
Hey delegates!
My name is joelle, and I'm truly honored to be your crisis chair in JOSMUN 2026.
I began My MUN journey two years ago ,feeling incredibly nervous and uncertain. However, with the guidance of the incredible chairs I had helped me gain confidence, and since then MUN became a part of my life that I can never let go.
I hope this committee is one that will give you the feeling I have for MUN, I cannot wait to meet you all and create an unforgettable experience!
Hi everyone, my name is Azal, and I am a senior at Saint Joseph Seminary and High School. I am a basketball player, and I love photography, so prepare yourself to take lots of photos!. My MUN journey began in 9th grade. Throughout my journey, I’ve attended many conferences and served as an admin, delegate, and chair. I am beyond excited to be your chair in JOSMUN 2026. Every MUN experience that I had taught me precious skills, introduced me to amazing people, and gave me so many enjoyable moments, and I am certain that this committee would be one of those wonderful memories. Delegates, I have high expectations, so do your research well and prepare yourself to have the best committee ever!!
Hello delegates, I’m Dareen Shaban, I’m a senior at Saint Joseph Seminary and high school and I’m truly honored to be your JOSMUN 2026 Crisis chair.
Four years ago, Dr. Elias Farah introduced MUN to our classroom as a place of leadership, debate, and diplomacy. Out of curiosity and passion, I joined, unaware of how much it would shape who I am today. I once thought MUN was only about speeches, but I soon realized it is about growth, friendships, and overcoming fears. It taught me confidence, resilience, and the drive to become my best self. I’m honored to be your chair at JOSMUN 2026 in the Crisis committee. Wish you all a great crisis experience!
Backroom Staff
Mina Istaiteh
Hi everyone! My name is Mina, and I’m really excited be this one of this year JOSMUNs Backroom Chairs. I’ve been in MUN for about 4 years now so it’s fair to say that I know my way around. I’m so excited to meet you all and help make JOSMAN an unforgettable experience for every single one of you!
“Passion and Creativity, these are the two words that define the crisis committee for me; from the first time I stepped into a crisis committee, surrounded by peers and upperclassmen, I only saw passion and creativity.
Hello, My name is Joud Nasser, and I am a senior at the Nazareth Baptist school, and I am so happy to be the head of the JOSMUN crisis backroom. I hope that, with the help of my colleagues, we are able to bring that passion, creativity and excitement into your committee, and make this experience one of your best.”
Hanna Bathish
Hello delegates! My name is Hanna, and I’m super honored to be part of the Backroom staff at JOSMUN 2026. My first Crisis Committee was at the very first JOSMUN, and now, somehow, I am serving as a Backroom member at this year’s conference.
For me, Crisis is where diplomacy meets chaos, it’s where every decision has consequences. It’s a place that pushes you to think fast, take risks, and turn pressure into strategy. I’m truly excited to see you all, and watch your directives give the Backroom more work with every new crisis update. Can’t wait to see you!
