Chairs
Greetings delegates! My name is Taim Masharka, and I am honored to serve as your Chair for the Historical Security Council at JOSMUN 2026. I’ve been part of the MUN world for years, and throughout that time, I’ve fallen in love with the intensity of diplomatic debate and the unique challenge of rewriting history through negotiation and strategy.
As your chair, my goal is to create a council that is engaging, fair, and genuinely fun. You can expect a heated debate and a space where creativity and critical thinking are equally valued. Whether you’re a seasoned delegate or attending your first specialized committee, I’m here to make sure you get the most unforgettable experience possible.
Hello delegates! I’m Hala Suleiman and I'm very excited to be chairing at JOSMUN 2026.
I’ve been a debater for five years and have done MUN for four. In my journey across fifteen conferences, MUN has grown to mean far more to me than just discussions, it's where you step out of your comfort zone, debate, and create solutions and timeless memories even when it’s difficult. In JOSMUN 2026, I’m eager to make my delegates enjoy MUN as much as I do.
Hello delegates! My name is Maria, and I am honoured to be your HSC Chair at JOSMUN 2026. My MUN journey began over four years ago as an admin and has taken me through countless conferences, committees, and roles, from delegate to chair to DSG. MUN has shaped me academically and personally, while giving me lifelong friendships and countless memories.
As I reach the end of my MUN journey, I am incredibly excited to share one last conference with you. I can’t wait to see what you all have prepared, and don’t forget to have fun!
