Chairs
Hello everyone!! My name is Lour, and I will be your chair in the human rights committee.
I’m super excited to meet all of you and enjoy the fun debates on our topic.
A little bit about me, I am 17 and am a student of the Salvatorian Sisters’ school. I love politics and law, and I write articles about controversial topics in my spare time. I am obsessed with music, and I also like to paint flowers.
I love MUN because I enjoy learning new information, expanding my knowledge through research, and meeting new people at conferences who share the same passion for MUN as I do. and I am forever grateful for the skills that mun taught me and the lovely experiences and I’m sure that we will have a really good time in our committee and have a positive environment that welcomes all opinions and makes everyone feel safe to speak up and debate.
Can’t wait to hear all of your actions and wonderful views on our topic, and make sure to come full of energy and enthusiasm!
Hello delegate, I’m Miral Jaraisy, and I’m delighted to be your chair in the UNHRC committee.
Over the past 2 years, MUN has become a huge part of my life; it taught me confidence, diplomacy, and good communication. Not to mention that it gave me unforgettable memories and lifelong friendships.
I know how intimidating it can be to speak in front of an audience, and how stressful it can be to step forward and speak up, but it’s important to remember that we’re here to learn, grow, and most importantly, have fun.
Be prepared for the committee, don’t be afraid to make mistakes, they’re part of the process after all, and if you need anything, we’re here to help you.
Two years ago, my greatest passion was established in the form of MUN.
Hi, my name is Ahmad Khalilia, and I will be your UNHRC chair in JOSMUN 2026.
When I first started, I was Amazed.
I opened my eyes to a much bigger world, a new world. A world of challenge and dedication, it shaped me into the man I am today. Although I started later than everybody around me, I never gave up on improvement. Quite the contrary, every time I made a mistake, I learned. Every time I had a mission, I did it to my full.
And now I can proudly say that I made it.
Now I'm not mentioning that because of my pride, it's to show YOU, the delegates reading this, not to give up. The path to the top is never easy; the road might get shaky.
Remember that the most important part of the Conference is how much you enjoy it, because looking back, that's what truly matters. Work hard and have fun, that's the essence of MUN.
